Norovirus can cause sudden nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. In severe cases, these symptoms can lead to dehydration, which may require hospitalization or IV fluids. Vulnerable people at greater risk for serious symptoms of norovirus include: Children younger than age 5 Adults older than age 60 People with underlying health conditions To qualify for our study, you must be: Must be 70 or older In good health or managing a stable chronic condition Not pregnant or planning pregnancy within 3 months after dosing.
